Damaged or Faulty Goods Policy

At eHome, we take great care to ensure that your products arrive in perfect condition. However, in the rare event that an item is damaged in transit or faulty on arrival, we’re here to make it right — within the terms outlined.

Inspecting Your Delivery

We strongly advise customers to inspect all items upon delivery. Please check:

  • The external packaging for signs of damage
  • That all items are present and correct
  • The product itself, where possible, before signing for the delivery

If damage is visible on delivery, note this on the delivery paperwork or with the courier, and take clear photographs.

Reporting Damaged or Faulty Goods

To report a damaged or faulty item, you must:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Email info@ehomeretail.com with:
    • Your order number
    • A description of the damage/fault
    • Clear photos of the item and the packaging

We cannot accept claims for damage reported more than 48 hours after delivery.

Faulty Electrical Products

If an electrical appliance develops a fault after installation or use, this is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Please contact the manufacturer directly, who will provide free support, repairs, or replacement depending on the warranty terms.
  • This ensures you receive fast, expert help directly from the brand’s technical team.
  • Warranty and contact information is usually included in the product packaging or can be found on the manufacturer’s website.

If you need help locating warranty details or contacting a manufacturer, our team will be happy to assist.

Please do not return faulty electrical items to us unless instructed — the manufacturer must assess the fault first.

What Happens Next

Once we receive your report:

  • We will assess the issue based on your description and photos
  • If approved, we will:
    • Arrange a free collection of the damaged or faulty item
    • Offer a replacement, repair, or full refund, depending on the nature of the issue and product availability

Important Notes

  • Do not attempt to install or use any item that appears damaged or faulty — doing so may void your return eligibility
  • Items returned without prior approval may be refused

Our Promise

We’re committed to resolving any issues as quickly and fairly as possible. Most damaged item claims are resolved within 7–10 business days of reporting, provided all required information is submitted promptly.
